Monochromatic

My aim to post more often has lost focus, but when it’s not a daily habit the frequency of an activity tends to do that.

OK. I’m conscious and showered. This is after sleeping from 9am to 1pm today. Which followed being up from 10am the previous day until 9am today. Yes, I pulled an all-nighter. But thanks to Jawn, Josh, Matt, Chaz, Russ, and Jibs, it was glorious. A smorgasbord of video gaming was had, and I’m going to elucidate ya’lls in what went down.

NEBS IN

I’m about to go play DDR. In an arcade. With someone else. And this is, like, an event in which I have purposefully planned in advance to now fulfill. I think the last time I did this was either with wawwen_san{.lj-user} or girlnextdork{.lj-user}. And that was years ago.

Making regular LJ posts makes me happy. Too bad it’s blocked at work now, and so I can’t really keep up during my usual sit-at-a-computer-for-long-stretch-of-time block.

The New Year’s weekend is almost over and I’m fighting it. I haven’t even been on vacation as long as Robyn and I share her disdain with returning to work tomorrow.

Sitting here with Robyn, both of us on our respective laptops, semi-watching the Rose parade countdown (even though it’s already happened, so this is a replay), and I thought I should make an LJ post. SO HERE WE GO!

Life is still pretty sweet.

I can’t believe we did it. We actually upgraded the thermostat for our (rented) home!

Jonface visited a few weekends ago. We played board games, his car was broken into, and burritos were eaten. 2/3 of that was awesome.
