LiveJournal -> WordPress Import
Whomever actually wrote the LiveJournal Import tool is a godsend. Instead of this blog starting out with one wimpy little “HEY GUYS” post, it’s already stacked with over EIGHTEEN HUNDRED ENTRIES.

Introducing: Lazy in the Blog
An emigrant from LiveJournal, where I was happily blogging for several years, I have finally made the jump to personal domain blogging. I have 7+ years of LiveJournal entries to import, but that will have to wait for now.

The End of LiveJournaling
I’m seriously considering moving away from the LiveJournal “platform” for my blogging needs. Since the community that was once here doesn’t feel like it exists anymore, this probably won’t affect anything. By community, I’m referring to the people on my friends list, a significant amount of which do not post anymore or leave comments. This includes me. This causes me to check the site infrequently for any locked posts that don’t get through my public-only RSS feed.

Scripps Institution of Oceanography is a Fan
The first video in my The Matic album of themes has caught the fancy of the institution that afforded the idea for it in the first place! The circle, as they say, is complete.
In other words, SIO has linked The Sea Castle!

RadioFreeGamer
I don’t listen to podcasts much, but when someone asked me to let them play some of Gamey Mixture in theirs, I modified my behavior.
RadioFreeGamer is the podcast in question, and it’s a good one. Showcasing video game music and remixes of such, the host was kind enough to play a few tunes during last week’s show.
You can download it at their site.

New Release: Gamey Mixture
Album of the NebyooMoment: Gamey Mixture
Another new album already? Yes. Projects overlap for me a lot, or I’ll do a bunch of preliminary work at some point, let the project drop for a while, and then come back to it. So, things can tend to get finished near each other as each one gets more and more complete.

Puppenhausbuch, or Lawful Attribution
This video is at least a year old, but a random egosurf a while back turned it up, and I wanted to share it for posterity. Also, ahem, it uses a short snippet of Prologue – “Jellyfish” from Ebben Flow, so there is actually a connection to me. Also also, the video creator is a good friend, so this all just really makes perfect sense.

New Release: The Matic
Album of the NebyooMoment: The Matic
You may have noticed, if you’ve been following this blog, that I recently created seven music videos under the guise of “The Matic Music Videos.” YouTube’s got the whole mess of them. Ranging in subjects from Alaska to cooking turkey stroganoff to springing TiVos out of jail, they were a blast to make.

New Video: My Chamber Life
The final music video in my series “The Matic” is up on YouTube. For this final one, we take a tour of the coast. After living inland for several years, I often forget how nice the beach is. Seeing it just puts me in a better mood.

New Video: Alaska Yo Ho
Another entry in the now-illustrious “The Matic” music video line is now up. This time it features a family cruise to Alaska. Starting in Vancouver, Canada, we shipped out to Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and finally ended in Whittier, wherein my wife and I took a bus ride through a mountain to Anchorage.
